On Monday morning, December 4th, 2023 the East Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to Kelmar Ave for a report of a possible building fire. Engine 5 made a quick response and confirmed fire at the location. The house fire dispatch brought Berwyn Fire Company, Malvern Fire Company, Paoli Fire Company, Fame Fire Company, Goshen Fire Company, Uwchlan Ambulance Corps, and Chester County Fire Marshals to the scene. Units from Radnor Fire Company were also requested as a secondary Rapid Intervention Team. The fire was placed under control at around 06:06 hours. East Whiteland units were available by 7:30 AM.
The incident currently remains under investigation by the Chest County Fire Marshal's Office.
