At approximately 5:22 PM on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023, Station 5 was dispatched to Rosemont Avenue for a report of a house fire, with a fire in the bathroom. Upon arrival, Engine 5’s crew deployed a hose line and entered the structure to confirm the report of a bathroom on fire. Ladder 4’s crew joined Engine 5’s crew and assisted with interior operations. Rescue 5 and Engine 56 worked to complete the supply line to Engine 5, with Ladder 6, Engine 4, Engine 2-2, and Engine 53’s crews reporting to manpower staging to assist in operations. Shortly after crews had water on the fire, the fire was put under control and Command held the assignment to Station 5, 4, and 54/56 units.
