Restoration of the Station 5 Siren - Eagle Scout Project

Station 5 is the recipient of another Eagle Scout project. Likhit Kumar Manga of Troop 78 recently completed the restoration of the decorative siren on our property. This siren was active for decades at our fire station located on Planebrook Road. When 911 calls were dispatched, the siren would sound out, calling the volunteers to the station. KDM 2nd Grade Visit to Station 5

On Monday, June 3, 2024, over 120 of the Great Valley School District K. D. Markley 2nd graders made their annual trip to Station 5!
During their visit, the 2nd graders were able to learn about our apparatus, the tools that we use and how we use them, and more.
The 2nd graders donated $881.50 to Station 5, thank you for the visit and your support!

Fire Police Officers Sworn In

On Monday, May 13, 2024, at the East Whiteland Volunteer Fire Association’s Board of Directors meeting, Fire Company President and Fire Captain Gary McCusker, and Member Karen McLay were sworn in as Fire Police Officers for Station 5 by Rich Orlow, East Whiteland Township Supervisor.

Eagle Scout Project to Help Firefighters Prepare

The East Whiteland Fire Company is proud to be the beneficiary of a recent Eagle Scout project. Jacob Diederich of Troop 78 constructed a ‘wall breach’ training prop for use by our firefighters. This training prop helps to simulate the conditions a firefighter would face when trapped in a room and the only escape was through a wall.
