Text-to-911 launched in Chester County

The Chester County Board of Commissioners and the Chester County Department of Emergency Services, today launched Text-to-9-1-1 services. Text-to-9-1-1 is a service for emergency situations when calling 9-1-1 is not possible. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon customers have the service available to them now; T-Mobile and MetroPCS customers will have the services in the very near future.

EWFC Puts on Fire Safety Presentation at Camilla Hall

2 Alarm Working Fire in Charlestown

On Sunday, February 22, 2015, at approximately 1916 hrs (7:16 pm), Chester County Fireboard alerted Stations 61 (Kimberton), 5, and 65/67 (Phoenixville FD and West End Ambulance) for a reported house fire on Highland Hill Lane in Charlestown Township. Engine 5-5 Assists Paoli on Working House Fire

At around 19:30 hours (7:30 pm) Station 3 (Paoli) was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 2300 block of Pheasant Hill Lane in Tredyffrin Township.
